После того, как некоторые уже ознакомились с биографией культовой группы Megadeth, предоставленной нам о_Оmega, я в свою очередь представляю вам одну из лучших работ Мастейна и Ко - "Rust in Peace" (незамысловатая игра слов от "Rest in Peace"). На этом альбоме группа достигает пика виртуозности и наполнила его быстрыми и цепляющими риффами, частыми сменами ритма и украсила великолепными соляками Мастейна и нововлившегося в группу Марти Фридмана.

На обложке тоже есть на что посмотреть. Кстати, над самим артом работал Эд Репка, который также оформлял обложки группы Death. А здесь мы видим маскота Megadeth - Вика Раттлхэда, что-то творящего с зеленым человечком. За ним наблюдают лидеры ведущих мировых держав на то время.

И всё же... Как жаль, что эта группа уже 14 лет как распалась (не считая 2007-2008 на гастролях) А ведь вместе с Dark Tranquillity и In Flames они стояли у колыбели мелодик дэта.
