Греческие дэт-металлисты Septic Flesh закончили запись альбома, который будет следующим после "Communion", вышедшего в 2008 году. Запись альбома проходила в Афинах, Праге и Швеции. Работа над альбомом завершилась сотрудничеством с Филармоническим Оркестром Праги и с известным музыкантом и продюсером Питером Тэгтгреном (Peter Tgtgren) (Hypocrisy, Pain).

Я знав, що колись таке може статися. Мабуть, тому і не був дуже здивований і, тим більше, шокований. Майже не боліло. Це було просто те, що я мав пережити, щоб трохи змінити себе і приглушити старі переживання. Правда я не очікував, що так багато речей зміниться за одну мить. Pain — музыкальная группа, исполняет индастриал-метал. Проект шведского музыканта, создателя группы Hypocrisy, Петера Тагтгрена (Peter Tgtgren).

История

Неутомимый шведский музыкант и продюсер Петер Тагтгрен помимо своей основной работы в «Hypocrisy» и участия в куче других проектов как-то решил поэкспериментировать с электроникой. Результатом этой идеи стала вышедшая в 1997 году на немецком лейбле «Nuclear Blast» первая пластинка «Pain». Над альбомом Тагтгрен работал практически в одиночку, записав все вокальные и инструментальные партии, а также спродюсировав и смикшировав весь материал самостоятельно.

Уже по названию — «Pain» («Боль») — можно было понять, что ничего радостного альбом в себе не таит. Темы песен — боль, насилие, смерть. Может быть, поэтому слушатели не обратили на диск особого внимания. Прорыв для «Pain» случился в 1999 году, когда вышел второй альбом под названием «Rebirth».

На нем было подбавлено еще электроники, а большинство композиций были построены на танцевальных ритмах. Первый же сопутствующий сингл, «End Of The Line», получил «золото», а все шведские музыкальные каналы зарядили в ротацию соответствующий видеоклип. Вслед за ним вышли еще два хит-сингла, «Suicide Machine» и «On And On». Особенно понравилась слушателям последняя композиция, часто показываемая на шведском телевидении.

Презентация «Rebirth», вышедшего на лейбле «Stockholm Records/Universal», состоялась в Гамбурге, для чего Петер пригласил сопровождающий состав в лице Хоргха (ударные), Дево Андерссона (клавишные), Маттиаса Камийо (гитара), оставив за собой только вокальные обязанности. Перед этим «Pain» появились на фестивале «Monsters Of Boat», а чуть позже провели небольшое турне по Германии.

Третьим студийным альбомом Тагтгрен занялся в начале 2002 года, и уже спустя несколько месяцев диск появился в продаже. Продолжая тенденцию дальнейшей электронизации, Петер сумел сохранить мрачную атмосферу и энергию предыдущих релизов, причем альбом получился более зрелым. По замечанию автора на «Nothing Remains The Same», «стало лишь больше песен о сексе и смерти». Вместе с тем звучание получилось настолько интересным, что казалось в работе над альбомом была задействована целая группа, хотя по прежнему все партии Тагтгрен записывал самостоятельно.

Диск включал в себя интересную кавер-версию битловской «Eleanor Rigby», а также самую хитовую вещь — «Shut Your Mouth». На эту песню был снят получивший постоянную прописку на телевидении видеоклип, в котором изображается как дом Тагтгрена атакуют инопланетяне. Пожалуй, благодаря ему проект «Pain» получил наконец-то мировую известность.

В 2005-ом года выпускается «Dancing With The Dead» — заглавная композиция есть непостижимый уму шедевр, а лучшие вещи: Same Old Song, Not Afraid To Die и Bye-Die. Сняты клипы на Same Old Song и Bye-Die.

В 2007 году выпускается «Psalms Of Extinction». Был снят клип на песню «Zombie Slam».

В октябре 2008 года был выпущен альбом «Cynic Paradise». Снят клип на песню «Follow Me». «Pain» в начале 2008 года ездил в тур вместе с группой «Nightwish», а две песни из нового альбома Петер Тагтгрен исполняет вместе с Анетт Ользон, солисткой «Nightwish».

Петер Тагтгрен
(швед. Peter Tgtgren, родился 3 июня 1970 года) — шведский музыкант, композитор, мультиинструменталист, продюсер, режиссер клипов, лидер дэт-метал группы Hypocrisy и единственный участник one-man-project’a Pain. Кроме этого Тагтгрен создал блэк-металический проект The Abyss, участвовал в супергруппах War (блэк-металический проект, включающий музыкантов из Abruptum и Dark Funeral) и Lock Up (грайндкор). Тагтгрен владеет собственной звукозаписывающей студией The Abyss и является известным музыкальным продюсером. В его студии записывались многие металические группы, включая Dimmu Borgir, Therion, Children of Bodom, Immortal и Dark Funeral.

В одном из своих интервью Тагтгрен заявил что Hypocrisy является для него всего лишь хобби, а наибольшее предпочтение он отдаёт своей студии - Abyss Studio.

Музыкальные пристрастия

Большое влияние на Питера оказала группа Kiss, именно она вдохновила его стать музыкантом.Играть в направлении экстремальной музыки для Петера поспособствовала музыка группы Metallica, а также Venom и Possessed.

Философия

Петер Тагтгрен не хочет называть себя сатанистом, используя при этом слово ненавистник (дословно hateanist) по отношению к религии (в большей степени к христианству).Воспитывался в семье, по его словам, ненавидящей религию.
