Желаю множества вещей, которым не бывать... А всё ж, я страстно их хочу, а вы не прочь? как знать. Котёнка милого хочу, ручного добряка-- ищу, по улице брожу, надежда есть пока. А няня молвит мне: "Пойдём, не стой и не гляди"; а я смотрю-- быть может, кот гуляет впереди. Ещё хочу воздушный шар, чтоб, синий, рвался ввысь; он снится мне пока, но вдруг-- подробуй удержись. Однаджы, в парке я была, казалось мне, что кот в гостинной под часами сам меня уж часик ждёт... Мы с няней быстренько домой, в гостинную бегом: смотрю везде, где котик мой? Ах, нет здесь никого. Ох, как надежду мне унять... и чем займусь потом?
