Что-то давненько я не публиковал биографии примечательных групп. Эта заслуживает самого пристального вниманияи рекомендуется тем, кто хочет услышать нечто свежее. Вместо меня вам более доходчиво пояснит биография.

Diablo Swing Orchestra

Diablo Swing Orchestra – шведская группа, играющая в стиле "авангардный метал". Музыка DSO проистекает из классической оркестровой музыки и представляет собой смесь джаза, метала, виолончельной музыки и оперного женского вокала с текстами на английском и итальянском языках..

Пять столетий назад, в самом начале 16-го века, в Швеции появилась группа, которую чаще называли оркестром. Музыканты странствовали по всей стране, исполняя удивительную музыку, она зачаровывала слушателей, и те, кто ее слышал, не мог ее забыть. Артисты приобрели огромное влияние, и служителям церкви это не понравилось. Было объявлено, что эта музыка идет от дьявола. С того времени группа стала известна как The Devil Orchestra. Гонения на музыкантов усиливались; они решили дать последнее, самое грандиозное выступление, в конце которого они были схвачены, а затем преданы смерти. Тем не менее история об удивительном оркестре жила десятилетиями и столетиями. И вот однажды, в 2003 году, все в той же Швеции, в музыкальном магазине Стокгольма встретились два человека и разговорились о музыке. Это были потомки двух музыкантов Дьявольского оркестра. После встречи они начали искать остальных отпрысков легендарных артистов. Им это удалось, и все вместе они создали группу, назвали ее Diablo Swing Orchestra и продолжили дело предков.

После прослушивания первого альбома Diablo Swing Orchestra "The Butcher's Ballroom" (2006) сомнения в правдивости рассказанной истории отступают даже не на второй, а на третий и четвертый план, потому что музыка Diablo Swing Orchestra на самом деле потрясает и завораживает. Ни одна композиция не похожа на предыдущую, и при этом они вместе составляют на удивление целостную картину. Здесь можно услышать джазово-металльное "Ballrog Boogie", зажигательное фламенко на "Poetic Pitbull Revolution", композицию "D'Angelo", которая отлично вписалась бы в классическую оперную постановку, мечтательно-интригующую "Infralove", восточные мотивы на "Gunpowder Chant" и многое другое. Все эти влияния и элементы самой разнообразной музыки объединяют металл и великолепный женский вокал Ann-Louice Lgdlund. Ее голос, очень гибкий, живой, динамичный, при этом нежный и проникновенный, передающий все оттенки эмоций, следует за композиционной линией, составляя вместе с ней единое целое. Гитары, ударные, контрабас, вокал – все эти элементы дополняют друг друга, создавая удивительный сплав, который почти невозможно заключить в рамки одного стиля. Progressive, avantgarde, experimental – все эти определения подходят под творчество Diablo Swing Orchestra. Если вам кажется, что в тяжелой музыке уже нельзя придумать ничего нового, что все уже лишь повторяется и копируется, послушайте Diablo Swing Orchestra. Возможно, в современный мир 21-го века после пятисотлетнего перерыва на самом деле вернулась музыка легендарного оркестра?

Их музыка - это симфоническая сказка, мелодии которой словно проходят через каждую частичку твоего тела, оставляя за собой тихое восхищение.... (и прочая и прочая... я бы мог написать ещё больше пафосных дифирамбов, но мне надо отправится в Девиант-лес, собирать в свою корзиночку ягодки и орешки аниме-арты   )

В такие жаркие деньки всегда хочется чего-то холодного и освежающего. А из музыки на ум приходят Immortal с их "grim and frostbitten" миром Бласхирк, вечно скованным льдом и морозными демонами. Неуютненько... Но на глаза мне попался альбом "Routa"(финск. "Мерзлота") сольного проекта финского мультиинструменталиста Туомаса Саукконена под названием "Black Sun Aeon". Альбом состоит из двух дисков : "TALVIAAMU" ("зимнее утро") и "TALVIY" ("зимняя ночь). Несложно догадаться, что первый более красив и лиричен, а второй - агрессивен и груб. Но объединяет их тягучая придумленная мелодика, характерная для Финляндии. Сам Туомас вдохновлялся суровой финской зимой, которая и нас немало поморозила.

Dir En Grey - знаменитейшая японская рок-группа с оччччччень оригинальным стилем музыки и клипов (клипы - это отдельный разговор). С их творчеством надо знакомится осторожно (ни в коем случае не с Marrow Of A Bone) чтоб не испортить впечатление, ведь музыка у них действительно хорошая.

Moonspell




Moonspell — португальская готик-метал-группа, основанная в 1992 г. На первых порах группа играла фолк/блэк-метал, позднее творчество группы также иногда характеризуют как дум-метал или готик-дум. А вокалист Фернандо Рибейро просто дьявольски  красив : ему только и надо сниматься в роли вампира или Гётевского Мефистофеля.
